CEF is excited to announce another way to extend the CPSI magic. This year, we have added virtual pre- and post-conference sessions that are FREE with your paid CPSI registration. We kick off this programming on May 4 with Virtual Pre-CPSI 2024. Join us for three interactive virtual sessions focused on current topics and trends in the world of creativity.

Breath Connection: Creativity & The Nervous System
Mallory Combemale

Join Mallory to explore the connection between breath and creativity. Breath techniques are not only powerful tools to reduce stress and increase focus and mental clarity, but they also can shift brain patterns to support divergent thinking, convergent thinking, and creative problem solving. In this interactive 90min session, you will:

  • Understand how breath patterns affect your nervous system, brain, and creativity
  • Learn simple breath-based tools that you can use daily to shift your state and boost your creativity
  • Understand how different breath practices can enhance different parts of the Creative Problem Solving process
  • Practice breath techniques in community to prime you for the rest of the day of calm, focus, learning, and creativity

AI is my Co-Pilot: Harnessing Artificial Intelligence for Entrepreneurial Success
Nicole Haddad

Join Nicole to hear how she has “hired” AI to serve as a Co-Founder for her latest start-up. You will discover the transformative power of artificial intelligence in your own personal, professional, and entrepreneurial ventures. Through engaging activities and discussions, you will explore real-world applications of AI across various business domains, identify challenges, and co-create innovative solutions.

In this interactive 90-minute session you will walk away equipped with practical insights, actionable strategies, and a newfound understanding of how AI can serve as a strategic partner in entrepreneurial success.

Design Thinking and Creative Problem Solving: Similarities and Differences
Judy Bernstein

Both Design Thinking and Creative Problem Solving can ignite innovative thinking. This session will explore some of the key similarities and differences spanning the models, methods and maxims of each. Participants will come away with an introductory understanding of benefits and usage opportunities


Judy Bernstein
Judy has extensive experience facilitating innovation and moderating qualitative research across a broad range of categories and industries. She currently practices Human Centered Design as VP, Design Thinking Strategy for FCB Health. She holds a M.S. in Creativity and Innovation from the Center for Applied Imagination and multiple certifications in related areas. She is a very proud member of the Creative Education Foundation’s Board of Trustees.

Mallory Combemale
Mallory Combemale is a facilitator, entrepreneur, and designer of transformative experiences. Mallory has studied yoga, breathwork, meditation, and trauma-informed approaches to healing for over 12 years. Through Breath Connection, she empowers individuals with scientifically supported breath practices to improve leadership skills such as emotional intelligence, creativity, collaboration and resilience.

Mallory is also a Co-Founder of Inheritance Project, which offers leading-edge programs to resolve conflicts and develop leaders at the world’s most forward-thinking, innovative organizations. She has been facilitating the CPS process and involved in the CPSI community since 2017 and currently serves on the Board of the Creative Education Foundation.

Nicole Haddad

Nicole is the founder of ArtWorks, where she uses creativity to transform groups into passionate, energetic teams that can tackle their most pressing business challenges with confidence. As a creative leadership coach and team development facilitator, Haddad helps organizations build thriving cultures through programs that focus on creativity and innovation, collaboration, team development, and creative leadership.

Haddad brings over 15 years of experience in advertising and marketing, serving as an Art Director on major brands. She provides creative problem-solving training to students as a Visiting Lecturer at Southern Methodist University. She is a certified LEGO® Serious Play® facilitator and serves on the board of the Creative Education Foundation.
