Springboard to CPS
If you’re new to CPSI®, Springboard is your fast track to a deliberate creativity process for solving problems and capitalizing on opportunities. You’ll learn the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) Process, a framework for creativity that has been researched, developed and proven over the past 55 years. Your team of experienced facilitators will guide your diverse group of 20-24 participants through structured activities, real-life applications and give you a thorough hands-on working knowledge of the CPS model. This year, Springboard will be offered in two time formats:
Springboard to Creative Problem Solving - 5 day program
Through this experience, you’ll be able to:
- Recognize and reduce blocks to creativity,
- Identify attitudes and behaviors conducive to creative thinking,
- Apply core concepts of creative thinking,
- Utilize a variety of divergent and convergent thinking tools,
- Apply the CPS process and practices to many simulated or real situations and
- Learn how to choose to be creative when facing problems and opportunities.
Jump into CPS - One-Day Program
Offered on Sunday, June 20th & Tuesday, June 22nd
Unable to join us for four days? Then spend a concentrated day focusing on the key elements of applying creative thinking and problem solving both professionally and personally. In this accelerated program, you will learn the basics of applying creative thinking so that you can clarify problems, generate ideas, develop solutions and implement ideas on demand.
You will:
- Deliberately apply your imagination,
- Identify blocks to creativity,
- Share a common language and process for problem solving,
- Become more effective at working through obstacles,
- Recognize new opportunities for growth in your work and your life and
- Apply the tools and techniques of CPS while working on real problems, challenges and opportunities.
Lunch included in price of registration. To register for the Sunday class, select Package #5. For the Tuesday class, select Package #7 and check Tuesday June 22nd and select the Jump into CPS class.
